Our genes serve as an operating manual for cells of the body. Genes tell cells what to do and when. But copying errors in those operating manuals, known as mutations, can lead to misspelled instructions that can change how cells operate. Scientists now know that some of those mutations can lead to disease.

우리의 유전자는 작동 설명서와 같이 우리 몸의 세포에 대한 일련의 지침으로 기능합니다. 유전자는 어떤 작업을 수행하고 언제 수행해야 하는지에 대한 지침을 세포에 제공합니다. 그러나 돌연변이라고 하는 이러한 지침의 복사 과정에서 오류가 발생할 수 있으며, 이로 인해 세포 기능을 변경할 수 있는 잘못된 지침이 발생할 수 있습니다. 과학자들은 특정 돌연변이가 질병의 발병에 기여할 수 있음을 발견했습니다.

Sometimes, natural processes can help preserve materials. For example, sediments from floods or volcanic eruptions can encase materials and preserve them. In one case, the chill of an Alpine glacier preserved the body of a man for more than five thousand years.

 

3. RA #965 Oxygen on Moon

Oxygen can be found in many of the minerals in the ground around us, and the Moon is mostly made of the same rocks you’ll find on Earth. Minerals such as silica and magnesium oxides dominate the Moon’s landscape. All of these minerals contain oxygen, but not in a form our lungs can access.

Fences are not just designed to keep people and animals out, but they also keep things in, like children. From a safety perspective, knowing your children are in a yard that is fenced offers solid peace of mind when it comes to their well-being. Fences are also great for keeping pets in a confined, controlled area.

Frogs live almost everywhere, from tropical forests to frozen tundra and scorching deserts. They sport an amazing range of survival strategies. Many frogs are more colorful than the most dazzling birds, and their voices have filled the night with song since the dawn of the dinosaurs. But the chorus is fading. As humans change natural environments, frogs around the world are disappearing.

The projected decline of government spending in many low income countries will restrict their ability to strengthen pandemic preparedness and limit their progress towards universal health coverage. This will lead to growing inequalities between countries, threatening global stability, and prosperity. Thus, governments need to give greater priority to health in budgets, and improve the efficiency of health spending.

 

많은 저소득 국가에서 예상되는 정부 지출의 감소는 전염병 대비를 강화하는 능력을 제한하고 보편적인 건강 보장을 향한 진행을 제한할 것입니다. 이것은 국가 간의 불평등을 증가시키고, 세계 안정과 번영을 위협할 것입니다. 따라서, 정부는 예산에서 건강에 더 큰 우선순위를 두고, 건강 지출의 효율성을 개선해야 합니다.
